The wife has a backpack sprayer that she'll use to spray herbicide around the edge to keep a nice clean border. I'm sure some hand pulling will be involved also. At least we can manage it now.

Makes sense! Just be careful that the herbicide she chooses is one that will not harm fish. Some herbicides and almost all insecticides are very toxic to fish. Herbicides containing Glyphosate are not considered highly toxic to fish, but Roundup has been shown to be more toxic that some other Glyphosate based herbicides. Just read the cautions on the labels and use accordingly.
The previous owner had bought alot of various size rocks and had alot of ideas but never played on any of them for unknown reasons.
Topkicker,
Let me tell You one thing - the guys working with the rocks never say anything to anyone what are they doing with them and for what reasonThey simply work hard and only the result should reveal a stoneman's secret
Or sometimes not ...
So do I with my rocks. My wife knows nothing what I'm doing, 'cause at present time I'm bringing the rocks to the farm from all around keeping silence. I say her only: "You'll see right after the job will be finished"So there's nothing left to do except to trust me. I'm not too strage, but at present time seems I know what I'm doing with my stones :confused2:
In Your case, although the pond rounded by rocks looks really nice, but it's difficult to understand Your lot's previous owner's idea. Wasn't he a magician? :confused2:
Please don't get a miff on what was said.
Cal-Fire requires a 2500 gal storage tank with a 2-1/2" fire hose connection if you want to build a home with a well for your primary water supply. That tank is 3000 gallons. I had to build a special ladder to get in it and shove the inner part of the fire valve adaptor through the wall-scary indeed.Very nice pics, Nickel. That tank is huge. We've caught some bass and bluegill but nothing to brag about yet.

Show us your fish pics!
Listen to country music and you can!:thumbsup:Topkicker, I love your signature line. I can never come up with cool lines like that, but totally agree with the line itself.
