Rock Removal?

Living in the rock capital of the U.S./the North-east;the real farmers around
here us a skid-steer/rock bucket.My farm has been in use for at least
150 years and I am still "picking" rocks.I have miles of rock fence and piles
every-where.

Why wouldn't a single pallet fork do the same thing??

On MY tractor, I do that with both of them on, pushed together.

With real forged forks I'd agree but mine are home made simple 3" channel hence my HD 'tooth'

It works VERY good, push the forks under the rock, grapple it and pull it right out of the ground,

Load it on the wagon and go to the next one,

When it comes to versatility, pallet forks with a matching grapple, just can't be beat! Among other things, it makes "rock picking" very easy!

That's exactly how we hope & plan to pull larger rocks out via sub-soiler. Do wish you'd have shown a "before" photo of that rock.

This works like a charm!

98% of these rocks are below the surface. Once they become high enough to tick the brush hog blades, they must come out. With very little damage to the ground! I wish I would have bought this setup years ago!!

Without a doubt. On much of my land there is literally more rock boulder than soil by volume. Glaciers are amazing rock poopers.

Unfortunately, I think the best way is by hand. A subsoiler seems like it would work great for pulling out large rocks (and I have not one, but two now, although I had zero back when I was picking up rocks at the lot where I’m building my new house). DIY or hire some kids or a couple of guys to pick up rocks by hand and toss them in the FEL, move forward 10 feet and repeat...
