There was an earlier thread about building a set of rock tongs for moving rocks. This got me interested in the idea and decided to make up a set.
My main use if for reaching down into a creek and grabbing some larger rocks and sitting in/on a trailer next to the creek.
I plan on using them with my tractor off a 5' extension "arm" from my bucket or off of the Mini Ex using the same 5' extension arm.
Not planning on picking up more than 400 or so pounds but they are fairly heavy duty just in case.
I tested them on a few rocks around the house and they gripped and grabbed extremely well. Figure I would post a quick photo or two in case someone else is looking to make a set.
