rod bearing

I know this isnt oficially a tractor but I have a question about my ransoms bobcat front mow. it has a 20 hp onan it broke a rod the only rod I could find is a .030 under new rod for that motor my question is do I order a .030 under rod bearing or a standard bearing or just measure it? also does any body have website that has chart for rod bearings for onan . once again thanks in advance for getting me out of another jam.

My first thought would be, did it damage/distort the crankshaft.

I'll just assume that model engine used the con rods without inserts.

I found this site that has new & used Onan parts. Onan Parts.Com, Rebuild Parts for Onan engines Lists standard con rods with/without inserts for various models. Probably best to get the model & serial numbers from your engine, and use their search feature to see if they carry parts for your particular model and application.
