Roger Welsch \"tractor\" books

I had the opportunity to read "Old Tractros and the Men Who Love Them" and "Busted Tractors and Rusty Knuckles" by Roger Welsch.

These are great books. There is some interesting how to, but the stories are really great. They are about restoring old tractors, but the topics really apply to working on new ones too.

They are worth checking out if you have the chance!

They both sound interesting. I'll have to look for them.

Another good read and one that I have is "Great American Tractors - John Deere, Farmall & Ford"
(by Robert Pripps & Andrew Moorland, MBI Publishing)

Lots of great photos, specifications, old ads, plus results from the Nebraska Tractor tests.

His latest book "Love, Sex, and Tractors" is a stitch. In spite of the title, it is not X-Rated. Mostly advice on relationships between males and females and a little bit about tractors.

If you enjoy his story telling get his book "It's Not the End of the Earth, but You Can See It from Here : Tales of the Great Plains". Not much on tractors but loaded with his brand of humor and stories about his friends. Good Read!

I agree, his books are top-notch. Anyone, and I do mean anyone can appreciate these books. My wife even liked them! They certainly helped in my campaign for a new tractor!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
