You might be able to mount a good sized umbrella to the back of your seat. I think I saw an outfit like that for sale at TSC.

There are also shades that are advertised as detachable. Do a few searches here and you will find a lot of options and reviews. I would like to have a removable shade on mine but so far the extra coin ends up elsewhere.

I have the same issue. I need to fold the ROPS to park in my garage. I have been doing some research to. The fabric sun shades appear to be the best option.
