Oil & Fuel Rookie Mistake Perhaps........

Guys keep in mind that it said right on the container he bought. The fluid was not for OEM equipment after 1974
That is right. J20C is what most use. Super S fluid with the J20C spec says it meets the specs for Kubota UDT fluid but it doesn't meet SUDT or SUDT2 specs. I would drain the 303 fluid out and replace it with the correct spec fluid whether or not to buy the Kubota super UDT is up to the OP and his wallet.

I tried that years ago on a 820 JD, TSC high dollar fluid was cheaper than JD. Finished the change out & from the get go, it screamed like a banshee, let it warm a little & it stopped, hooked a 2 bottom plow to it & the screaming started again.
JD fluids ever since, wouldn't run anything else even if it were given to me, ran fine in a MF i had to.

I have 0 experience with Kubota's, but I run MF's for the past 12 years, and I buy all my fluids and filters at the dealer.
Possibly a little more money...but I have peace of mind that they're all what my machine requires.
My Dad operated JD's all his life and did the same...I guess I follow what If been tought !
Compare to costly repairs...a few extra dollars to buy the right product is nothing in my opinion,
