root cellar?

Root cellaring was the name of the book that I just bought its pretty good.

forgeblast: I hope these pics come through, I am really electronically challenged The cave is 12x9x8high with gravel floor. The only thing I kept in it so far is potatoes and bags of deer apples, both did well. I will be installing shelves as soon as it warms up. I also need to install a vent and add more dirt on sides. I plan to either cover the top with dirt or a smokehouse.

Thanks great pictures, Its similar to the place where we would like to put one in. How did you do the forms, and did you have them truck in the cement or was it something you did when you had time.
