Root Grapple On DK65S

I had a diverter valve installed with a red button right on the loader joy stick. To close the grapple press the button and it closes, press it again and you have full control of the loader and the grapple stays closed tight. I have quick attach lines right at the bucket and the grapple came plumbed for skid steer standard plumbing.
I was going to get a tree shear and run the lines from the rear but the cost of the four lines and fittings was too much. Besides with the Farmi winch getting trees down and where I want them are no-longer an issue. And it is much easier to have the controls in one spot then to have to go from the loader stick to the rear remotes down by the left side of the seat to open/close the grapple. Just my thoughts.

Hey that grapple is awesome! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I too live in NH. If its not the rocks its the brush. That looks like an absolute must-have! I see they make a 63". Do you think that a CK25hst could handle that unit? Have not bought the tractor yet, but I did get one to demo. It's pretty hard to clean up anything around here with just a bucket. I'd love a shot of that joystick control button. Did you fabricate that yourself or did you buy it from the same people you got the grapple from?

I got my tractor with the diverter installed by my dealer. It should be easy to find and there has been threads in the past regarding diverters for grapples.

just got my new DK65s.....
I love the tractor except I am not impressed with where the loader joystick is.... way over on the fender .... a bit out of the way.

I just delivered a grappler on Wednesday from Markham Welding. It was a 72" model and looked really good. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
