A few guys have homebrewed custom rippers. Here's mine

That’s going to be a hard find.

Don’t think anyone sells pin on ears.

Had the same problem with my pin on M59 bucket, BT1200 backhoe till Mr M59 told his solution. USA attachments quick attach KX excavator yoke and his modification to factory thumb. Doses take some DIY work. I would have not tried it without his help and the results are fantastic. We both detailed our conversions on this forum.

Cost about $1,000. Sold my old Kubota pin on bucket for $600 in two days. Fellow drove 150 miles and said he had been looking for two years. New KX qa 12” and 24” buckets from USA Attachments about $$1,500 for both. Later Mr M59 and I both bought their rippers also.

Changing out buckets or ripper couldn’t be easier or quicker. If you have a thumb or thinking about getting a thumb, the quick attach is the way to go. Be a real chore to try to align everything up with a pin to change out each time.

Like to think the conversation effort not only makes my machine more versatile but also adds considerable value.

The KX option was available on M59 and current M62 models. Have to check Wholegoods price sheets for L47. They did share some items.

Looking through their website I can't find anything listed as fitting a BT1000b backhoe. As far as I can tell the only L size backhoe attachments are not for the L size TLB, but for "attachment" backhoes like a BH77.

Yesterday I wrote the company to see if their ripper fits. Hopefully I'll hear something this week.
I got a reply right away from BXpanded.

"Good morning, Bill,

We don't make attachments for that backhoe unfortunately. Thank you for your inquiry. Have a great holiday!!"

If you could find an old pin-on bucket might be easiest to have someone modify with a ripper shank. Some places will sell a blank ripper for your own ears.

I’ve only attempted to make ears once for quick attach. One offs are time consuming but usually not worth investing in all the tooling to maintain alignment.
