ROP for vintage tractors

These threads always crack me up. I don't think rops need to be designed by nascar cage builders. When a tractor rolls, it's not at high speed. It'll be misjudging a slope, to much weight on rear and going over backwards or tipping over. Relatively low impact. The damage isn't from the tractor laying on its side but rather the operator falling off and being under it or it going completely over and crushing him. Any structure that would prevent the tractor from rolling 180 degrees coupled with a seat belt would be a great mod. Look how simple kubota and deere a rops are for open station tractors. Don't over complicate this. The most force would be generated from the tractor flipping over back. Again, keep it off the operator and a seat belt will greatly improve survivability.

This isn't engineering a submarine with graph paper and abacus. Literally anything would be better than nothing. It would atleast give you a chance

We will have to question what is the definition of a "personal attack" and what a "diversion from the actual issue" is.

When you make a snotty comment implying that I was responsible for TMI, then I consider it a personal attack.

You want to stay on point? Respond to post #11.
