Rops for a Massey Ferguson 135?

Does anyone know where I could order a bolt on ROPS for my 135? I am new and would rather play it safe while I am learning.

I would think that your Massey dealer might be able to help although I must admit that all the 135's I've seen around here either have no ROP or they have a home made one and those range from the flimsy to the "Holy cow, how did they manage to get that up there?" type. You might find it tough to get someone to fabricate one for you these days. I know my welding buddy won't do it any more because he's afraid of liability issues.

Click on ROPS Frame, then click on Massey. It does show a 135 in the list.

Your Massey dealer may be able to help. Most brands of tractors offer ROPS kits at a discount for older tractors to encourage retrofitting them. I am sure it also helps the manufacturers liability issue if they can say they encouraged everyone to intall the ROPS.

Please remember that ROPS stands for Roll Over Protection System which means a roll bar AND a seat belt. Without the seat belt the roll bar could kill you in a rollover.

You might try Massey Agco dealer locator to find a dealer in parts for older tractors. I couldn't find anything about ROPS on Massey's website.
