I'm near Cygnet. I might be the only person in the area driving a gray market tractor but my neighbor who came with me to look at them really liked it.

It looks like Cygnet is about an hour East of me. I'm familiar with the area, and you're right... flat as a pancake! It gets a little more hilly in my area.
I've only seen one Yanmar (Grey) in my area as well. I'd sure like to market a few around here but no time or $$ right now.

I'm not replying to anyone in particular, but the dealer can only offer to sell what the manufacturer has decided what is profitable for him to build. If it's not available yet, don't string up the dealer.

I understood your intent fully. One of the bad things about the Inet, is not having inflection to help one out. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I hope they get a ROPS for your model too.
I think I need to clarify my previous post about the ROPS. Understanding there are situations that can get you in trouble on flat land just as fast as hilly terrain, I didn't come off the money for the ROPS until after putting my 2000 on a trailer a couple of times. So I just wanted to clarify that I think if you can get one, do so. I know you can't right now, but wanting one is a smart thing..even if the land is flat. The other thing that I'm glad I got it is the over-run clutch. I started out thinking I could judge when to stop,,,,only took mowing down one of my freshly planted walnut trees to figure out I needed the clutch...I didn't want to learn this lesson the hard way on the ROPS.

The Over-Running clutch was one of the best things I bought! And one of the first.
The Landscape Rake is probably the worst thing I bought. They are also called Rock Rakes and to my mind that’s a better description. The rake just doesn't do what I want.
However this may be because of two things: the 3-point lift on our 1510D is not up-to snuff; it doesn't want to "float". The rake is either too high or too low & I'm constantly fiddling with it. But mostly the fault is between the head-set cups - operator error.
The 3-point I'm fix'n to fix, parts are coming in this week. The head-set part is a little tougher, but I'll get there.

If you are looking for a ROPS for your YM1510, I suggest that you email Hercules ROPS on info@herculesrops.com. Their website is www.herculesrops.com. While they don't advertise that they stock your model, they have a different method of attaching their ROPS and it may be easier for them to modify a ROPS or they may have one that just bolts straight on.
