I,m Just wondering if any other Iseki Or Any Other similar Tractor Owners Have any ROP,s on Their Tractors ? I,m needing to either build a couple or find someplace to Buy them .

I Cant See How They could Posablly attach to Where they Would actually ad Much Protection . As I Have a Project Dumping Broken Concrete over a Very steep Incline for fill , Leading up to a washed out Upper river Bank to Keep it from eroding during really High waters , & Have allready had Some close calls due to the Soft ground & weight in the Bucket .

Links or Pics Would be Great, Thanks in Advance . Bob

Hi Bob, I haven't run across one for Iseki specifically but there may be some. I do know there are for Yanmars and always wondered if they couldn't just be adapted to an Iseki model that was close in size. Of course I would guess the warranty and OSHA certification would no longer apply, but any ROPs would be better than none, especially in your situation. Here's a link:

Not to throw TOO MUCH doubt on your sanity, but do you want to take on a project where rollover is a very real probability ?
I know, it is always "possible", but hopefully always outside the envelope that we try to stay within.

I just can't see planning for a rollover,,,,, but,
Does this tractor have a seat belt ?
If not, and if you go ahead with projects that you think need ROPS you should probably do the seat belt retro-fit as well.

Be safe - PLEASE.

Reg Thanks for Your input & Great point made on the Seat belt , as No it Does not have a seat belt at this time , , But I Have Plans to install them on Both tractors as well As the Wife also uses them for chores also .

I allways try to be very carefull . Actually My biggest concern is a Mechanical failure of some type at a Very Cruciall moment . Some of the Broken concrete are Very Large Pieces & Have Rebar in it to , which Makes it Even More Difficult . But I Try to keep the loaded Bucket as Close to the Ground as Posable also , So Its Just a quick bucket drop if I get into trouble .

I,ve Started this Project well over a Year ago & have Moved probablly over 100 dump truck loads of concrete to date Over the first bank & so far just a few close calls  . Its Just that I,m Coming to the Worst & Probably the Most risky part now & I,d Like to Feel a little safer . :D , But I do Try to not push My Luck also.

Thanks again for Your input & Concern . Bob

Well DUH !!! You bet They helped & Thanks for the Pics coolnick73 , I never Even thought about those Ubolts used for mounting :D .

I Am Curious If thats the Way Most of Them are Mounted Though. Seems Some I Have Seen Look Like There Mounted to the Tops of the Fenders somehow, Which I Cant Figure out how They could be That Much Protection in a hard roll over . But then again anything is Better then Nothing I recon .

That Also looks Like it Would be a Handy place to Mount some lights for After dark Use , as My headlights seem to be Perty Much Useless with the Loader down low . I,m assuming that Came installed on the Tractor, Certainlly doesn,t appear to be Home Built & Also would Guess I Would need longer & Better Ubolts for the install ? Or At Least not With What I have to work with . Thanks again For Your time . Bob :D

Sorry if my post was a bit harsh on you/your judgment.
Clearly you are aware of the risks and are headed in the right direction.

Suggestion on this;
If I was tipping over an edge with a LONG drop off I think I would try to figure a safety tie for the tractor.
Right now I'm thinking of 3/8 chain from the drawbar to whatever is available and weighs at least as much as the loaded tractor.
Without doing ANY math on it I think I would want that chain to go tight before the tractor's rear wheels actually get to the edge, maybe allow the front wheels over, but only a maybe.
In my case with about 6500 lbs of tractor I might tie it to a 7500 lb pick-up truck.
The wheels of that truck would be chocked and then some, no way would I rely on the automatic transmission's Park pawl.
It would slow down work, having to hook up for every dump action and unhook after, maybe time to measure out the chain each time too and adjust it.
This is just "MY" way of thinking; I'd rather not invest all my trust in a ROPS, in fact I would rather not get to the point of needing it.
