I am looking for a new rotary cutter. I have narrowed it down to the Everything Attachments heavy duty cutter 60 inch, the Woods bb60, or the Landpride 1860. I am not considering cheap cutter so dont wast my time with tsc special and crap like that. it need a 2 inch capacity mower that will be here in 50 years and take some real abuse

I'm sold on Woods Rotary cutters, but I wouldn't consider THAT model to be a HD cutter that will be here for the next 50 years... lol

It's a good cutter but it's sure not one of their HD cutters!

50 years on a bb60 or a 5ft land pride?? Lol

Not..

Bush Hog or Deere MX are about as rugged as you can get in 5ft mower. Never saw the everything mower.

Id take that bet with a LP 2660. Had one and upgraded to a 2672. **** im still using a unknown brand 5 footer from the early 70's that is no where near as HD as a 26 series LP.

Woods makes three versions of their brush bull cutters, the heavy duty 5' BB6000x weighs a little over 1300 lbs, the 5' BB600X weighs 1,000lbs., and the 5' BB60X weighs 600lbs. Quite a difference between metal content between the 6000 model and the 60.

I'm sure other top manufacturers have same size cutters with different duty levels of construction. Landpride has their smooth top heavier version like the Woods Brushbull which is model RCF2060, it has the 2" cutting capacity.

Woods even has their lighter, and less expensive, duty Heritage line.

Maybe you should consider the Woods BB600 or BB6000 or the Landpride RCF series for their heavier duty construction, cutting capacity and durability you are after?

Having said all that I have a Woods BB72X and it works for my use.

What kind of tractor are you planning to use to abuse the cutter?

Excellent post. When comparing implements, you must consider the various models or series, not just the brand name alone.
