I have a bx1800 kubota, I am looking for a rotary mower for it and am not sure what too look for, any suggestions would be appreciated. 1aberg1@verizon.net

If you are looking for a rotary cutter Hawkline makes what seems to be a good one. They are suppose to be made here in the USA and the price is about 30% less than a "name" brand one. I bought one last year, not a very pretty looking thing, it does look durable. I have not used mine yet due to I bought it over the winter due a good deal I found.

Are you looking to mow a lawn (using a rear finishing mower) or a field (using a rotary cutter)?
Since I think you meant rotary cutter, the main thing is to size the cutter to your Kubota (both the HP requirements and the weight of the implement). You would best be served by a 48" cutter, IMO.
The Kubota site or your manual should have some information about sizing implements to the tractor.

I am pretty sure your manual recommends a rotary cutter of no more than 42". The BX manuals do tend to be a bit conservative though.
I own a BX2660, but have no experience with the 1800.

I am "pretty sure" the early BX models were "limited category 1" while the later ones are category one.
I believe TSC XB equipment is aimed at them. Woods and Land Pride also offer models for the smaller tractors. I wasn't really sure on mine, so I talked to my dealer.
