Rotary Plowing The Garden With The Gravely

I have mentioned rotary plowing before,, and several people asked for a video,,
yesterday I plowed the garden, so, I videoed some of the action.

The tractor is a 1992 Gravely, with an eight horsepower Kohler engine.
The engine is running about 2,000 RPM's, so it might be making 5 HP,,,,

Looking good! Still a bit on the wet side to do any soil work around my parts.

Thanks CAD. That is an interesting machine and the results look great as gardening goes. Seems like it would be good for potato planting and later on for hilling and cultivation.

Too wet here to get in my place.

I have a 12HP model, with 30" rotary deck.
I love the steering brake.

I have 3 riders (800/8000 series) and 2 walk behind.. and a bunch of attachments. I'm hoping my middle daughter and SIL will want to rehome some of them when they get a place nearby (moving home from Maryland back to Washington state).

The rotary plow on front of 816 (repowered with Onan P18) just pulverized the hard clay soil and sod.
