I have a 24 HP Kubota B7610 and have been looking for a used rototiller (48 inch) for about a year. I don't have the $2000 to spend on a new tiller. Can't seem to find a used one on the Jersey-PA border. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I used a $300 Yanmar RS1200 rototiller (48" wide) with my Kubota B7510HST.

Found it at my local grey market tractor dealer.

The used ones I saw were beat up and 3/4 price of a new one. After two years of looking I purchased a new KK 6' model. Will try it out in spring. Still see alot of want ads for them.

Me and Flusher both have posted before how good our Yanmar tillers work for us. Here is a pick of a RS1400 behind 24hp.or 20pto. There is a man in Ga. that had a couple at the End or first of the year that looked to be in better shape than mine. Don't remember the exact price he wanted but it wasn't all that much more for what I paid for mine of 675.00$. Send me a PM and I will let you Know how to reach him.

How's your soil? Are you up in the hills or down on the coastal plain?
Rocks, rocks, rocks, or nothin' but red, red soil?

Like it very much.
Bought it new back in 2007 for about $1100.

King Kutter II Gear Driven Rotary Tiller 4ft. Tiller Width, Model# TG-48 | Cultivators + Tillers | Northern Tool + Equipment

King Kutter II Gear Driven Rotary Tiller 5ft. Tiller Width, Model# TG-60-Y | Cultivators + Tillers | Northern Tool + Equipment

Northern Industrial 3-Pt. Rotary Tiller 63In.L, 38 Blades | Cultivators + Tillers | Northern Tool + Equipment

You can still get a EL cheapo for that price looked at them and passed.Another plus for the RS1400 5ft. I have 3 pto speeds which it is compatable with,US. model 540 pto.If I use 2nd gear 730 pto 0n newly tilled soil on a secound pass just about turns it to powder and still have a 3rd gear 1260 pto nothing but dust. It's a joke unless your in water or a Rice Patty. If there is a wind blowing you just about practicaly dug a ditch :( I have had it now for over 2yrs with not a problem what so ever. :D

I purchased a new 48 inch First Choice tiller locally just a couple months ago for under $1300. Everything attachments sells the same tiller but the cost appears to be rising for tillers.

Phoenix T5 Series Heavy Duty 48" 3 point hitch, Tractor PTO Driven Rotary Tiller from Sigma

Sweet tractor sells First Choice and allot of used equipment as well. Not close by but they do ship attachements if needed.
Sweet Farm Equipment Co.,Disc Mowers, Compact Tractors,Implements, Ship Nationwide Daily

Wallace tractor and equipment in PA may also have a similar tiller or a good used unit give them a call. The same basic tiller is sold under different names.

I just spent about $2k for a 60" reverse rotation LandPride tiller - NEW. Used should be under $1500 for this size and quality, maybe even $1200. CL has them for under $1200 from various firms used in the 48" and wider range.

Be sure you can cover BOTH rear tires in width or you might regret getting the smaller over the larger model.

Certain models of LandPride tillers can be offset. So if you found a used one at a good price that was maybe a little narrow, consider if it can be offset so that you cover at least one tire track. This is another option to save a few $$.
