I needed ball joints on an old truck, and the owner of a local tire company lived near my inlaws. I saw he had not mowed his field, and offered to do it, in exchange for the work.
Turned out, he had a tractor rated at 2 horsepower more than mine, with a finish mower, that wouldn't mow the field. When he saw me mowing, he went and purchased a new bushhog. Now the field stays mowed.
I should have mowed it when they weren't home.lol
