Have you tried a left hand drill bit?
I pretty much gave up using easy outs a long time ago, because they often break, leaving an even worse problem.

A left hand bit (using the largest size possible without damaging threads) will heat the remainder of the bolt thread, as it also tries to back it out, and will often remove the bolt without even needing to use an easy out.

I have a complete set of left hand bits to 1/2"

Set your drill press up with a reversing switch and you have a hole set of spare bits. I do not have a reversing drill motor that has enough power to back out a really stuck bolt; but, my 1/2" battery powered hammer drill works pretty good, some times.

I’m pretty sure we’re going to make it to 1500. I had my doubts of it happening 500 post ago though.
