If a politician had anything to do with the plug it would get screwed in tighter and never come out. Now let’s come up with an idea that works. :thumbsup:

Then they pass 6 conflicting laws that are propagandized as the solution to this never happening again; by requiring manufacturers to install $1000 worth of parts, that provides instant release for draining with an ecological friendly collection and disposal device, all computer controlled. Makes lots of new jobs both for monitoring by Gov and technician jobs at dealers to maintain the equipment. Oh, and there are 100 pages in the Federal Register on this and a 200 page operation and maintenance manual.

Whole new round of posts about the new systems. Keep 'er going.

Stamp a dollar sign on the end of the plug. Show it to a politician. Pull him sideways to loosen the plug. His grip won't slip.

FYI...in the first few pages of the thread several professional mechanics and millwrights offered techniques on how they would address the issue...all the rest of the replies are nothing but choking the proverbial chicken...!
