Well, not literally but pretty close. I am going to tile out kitchen countertops in marble 12" x 12" tile squares. I need to ease and polish the edges. I can take this to a stone place here and get it done for $5 per tile. I was wondering if any of you have done something similar and how you addressed it. I figured with how many tiles I have I could justify making a purchase of some equipment. Welcome your thoughts.

$5.00 per tile is cheap when you consider your time, effort, and materials/tools that you will have to purchase to do the job. Then, after the job is done, what do you do with the tools? Also consider the cost of the tiles themselves. If you break a few, that will add to your cost to do the project. There are some things that are best left to the professionals. This is one of them in my opinion.
