Royal Purple vs RedLine

Can anyone see or know what base stock Royal purple is using?
I looked on their web and don't see it anywhere obvious.
Someone (not here) claimed R.P. is the best due to their independent testing---but I didn't see their testing compare RedLine---just "another leading brand" whatever that is...
