Kioti CK30 2008
I have a ck30 gear with bucket and backhoe. I noticed that at 1200 rpm when I curl the bucket the rpm drops to 800. Anyone else with a ck30 drop that much with an empty bucket? All other funtions (backhoe and bucket) only drop my RPM by 100or so, it seem the bucket curl puts a noticable load on the system for some reason.

PS: the bucket is empty for this test. When I work the tractor, I run it around 1800rpm.

I have a CK30hst and do notice a drop of @100rpm, empty fel or bh bucket, but not the 400rpm with just the fel bucket curl only. Without a load, all the functions have the same rpm reduction. When my tractor is first started up in the Winter temps with it idling @1200 to warm up, the drop is more noticeable but lessons as everything warms up (engine, hydro fluid). Maybe one or both of the QDs for the bucket function isn't connected/seated completely or is restricting the fluid flow somehow. Some members have reported totally losing a function completely to find out it's a not properly seated QD. Just a thought for a place to start.

How is your backhoe plumbed? I would be looking at that. I have the OEM remote kit for my backhoe. If that is engaged, I see similar kind of loading when operating the loader. Whatever the cause, you want to find it before using it very much. It could lead to hydraulic pump failure, and that's expensive.

Thanks for the replies. My tractor does have the OEM remote kit. Sounds like maybe it's just the cold weather. Today warmed up to 30 deg and I noticed the drop is reduced to a 250rpm drop vs 400. I have been using the tractor alot this winter vs other winters. I'll keep an eye on it.
