Radioman, your idea may have merit....I quizzed the Kubota dealer mechanic about towing issues with the front wheels since it's hydraulic power steering. His concerns regarding towing, front wheels and steering, provided in Neutral and not 4WD, seemed to be minimal or non existant.

At any rate, any scheme so far, trailering or turning it into a 2 wheeler, involves more work/risk than just walking back or getting a 2nd driver. So, guess I'll do that when need arises.

There's gotta be a young-man nearby in the community that would
love to "help" you out.........race you back to the barn?

I found myself in several off-road "jams" over the years; I made makeshift towbars with a tow-chain fed through a 2"X 5' steel pipe.

The general "unloaded"rule of thumb is "less than 15 miles for less than 15 mph".

Am bemused....I asked the dealer about towing, slowly, in neutral, with the engine running...... they have been mulling over this question now for over a week....apparently within themselves there are several schools of thought...don't think I'm going to get an answer from them based on anything other than opinion...if I do, will let y'all know
