rtv 500 hill problems

i purchased a new kubota rtv 500 last junr. have about 30 hours on it. i can't get up the hills in my yard in normal driving range. runs out of power, stalls. if i go to low gear it makes it up these hills fine. i am not talking about big hills. seems to run good on level ground. I have used a 18 hp mtp garden tractor for years with no hill problems. is there something wrong? i spoke with the dealer and they have not had any suggestions.

This is a common problem with the RTV 500. Do a search for "servo adjustment" on these boards, many have done it and reported good improvement with power. Eventually I will do mine as well.

You need to adjust your WOT rpms and your servo...after you get it adjusted that little 500 will be night and day better on power.:thumbsup:

Mine will climb pretty much anything in high and I never let off the throttle...it pulls like crazy.
