Hello , We have a 2005 rtv 900w and the engine temperature gauge never moves . (always reads cold) - After grounding the wire to the sender , the gauge read hot (as it should) so then we purchased a new sender from Kubota , installed it with same results . Today we tested the new sender as well as the original one using a heat gun and both registered hot to the gauge . Has anyone else had this issue and been able to discover the reason for the (zero) reading on the gauge ? Our rtv has always run fine but after all these years it would be nice to have the temperature guage read correctly . Thank you for any advise or direction you may be able to share . Respectfully , Tom

Is it possible your thermostat is stuck open, not allowing the engine to build enough heat to register on the gauge?
Good Luck!

We thought about that but it has never registered any temperature since the cart was new in 05 . Honestly we were hoping that someone had already suffered through this mystery and might have a remedy . That plus , it looks like changing the thermostat will be a fair size project . One post talked about the need to remove the head in order to change the thermostat and that project may be above our pay-grade . Thank you for taking the time to respond to our 'cool running' issue . Respectfully , Tom
