I already have a rocker switch in that hole to run my amber beacon lite. I have to poly roof on it and tomorrow I am picking up some lexan to make doors for it. So will more than likely put a bank of switches up near the ceiling and move my beacon switch up there also.

Nope no snatch block yet. I very seldom ever leave my own property with it. If I ever get it stuck here I will just get my Bota tractor with the 10,500 lb logging winch on it and humpteen feet of cable.

To make you a secure panel for overhead. Being I also own a sign company, I had access to a .080 aluminum painted blanks. This is the same thickness as a STOP sign. Go to a local sign shop & get 'em to cut you a piece of painted aluminum and make the corners radius of 1 or 1-1/2" ~~~~ Get yourself a marine switch panel with fuses, ( ebay has 'em ***** $ 12.00) and run you a hot wire up to the switches, and then spider out from there ~~~
Get you some very fine sandpaper, and ruff up the paint on the aluminum, prime it with a Krylon quality acrylic, and paint it the KUBOTA ROPS grey color.

That is a very sharp looking panel. I have some of the road sign Alu on hand. I got an old unused directional sign from where I use to work(retire now). I plan on putting piloted lighted switches in it. My main feed wire will be # 6ga and that will also be fused or have a circuit breaker.

You're are ready to go then. Be sure to add yourself a few extra switches for future installments ~~~~

I don't want to get too fancy with this one because I will be trading for a new 900 now that I know how to set one up. You guys have given me so many ideas. The new will have a Curtis cab and heat. A 2 inch lift kit and 27 " tires, A turbo!!!!!!!! and more switches than you would see in an airplane.

being the rtv's have a nice alternator output i would put a secont battery with a battery disconnect switch in between them that way you could use the stock battery just for starting the rtv an the headlights and use the second battery for all the extra stuff. thats how i have my hpx wired up. and that second battery came in handy when i was in the woods one time and my main battery crapped out on me . the funny thing was i sat there for a few minutes trying to figure out how i was gonna get a jump start out there in the middle of nomans swampland then i remembered "hey dummy you have two batteries and there is a switch under the seat that turns the other one on" so i turned the switch and i was on my way. you can't beat the two battery system i had my stock charging system charging my stock battery and i had a toyota tercel 90 or 100 am alternator charging my marine deep cycle battery i was never in need of any power infact my hpx ran betterbecause it had all the electrical power it needed to run.
