I forgot about this moment of fun I had last week in Georgia. I was using my RTV to haul wood chips from a large pile. I used my skid steer loader to load the RTV. That's where the problem started. The SS bucket is much wider than the RTV bed and when you dump the wood chips in the bed some ends up between cab and bed. Then when you dump a few chips fall off the front and end up on top of the motor.
After finishing the wood chip spreading project I headed back to the cabin. When I arrived I smelled smoke and thought my son had started a fire to burn trash. He the informed me that he had not started a fire. I parked the RTV and got off and looked back at the RTV to see that the smoke was coming from under the RTV bed. I quickly started the RTV and lifted the bed. There right on top of the motor (exhaust manifold) was a very nice camp fire. I could decide if I should go get marsh mellows or a water hose. I opted for the water hose and all is fine. No damage to the RTV.....
Just something to look out for when loading the bed full.... (Over Full)
