does anyone know of a k&n or any other type of reuseable air filter. Any help would greatly be appreciated

Why do you want a reusable filter? I don't recall exact price but OEM filters are really cheap and good for 100 hours or more.

OEM filters aren't that cheap. There's a outer and inner filter - the outer is about $14 and the inner is about $28.

The thing I don't understand is that Kubota recommends replacement every year. It's the only time I've every seen that a air filter be changed on a time recommendation rather than hours/mileage.

Most of my usage is during the winter for plowing so there's very little dust/debris filtering taking place during the winter - ever notice that snow blowers don't even have air filters? I feel like I'm discarding perfectly good filters if I replace every year.

Go to NAPA, they can cross match that inner filter and it cost $15.00.

Thanks for the tip. I never would have thought that there would be enough demand for NAPA to offer a cross reference replacement. Is this filter used on other Kubota equipment?

Now, can you offer a third party source for the hydraulic filters? These are rather pricey Kubota items.

I ran the Kubota part numbers for the RTV900 air filters through the NAPA cross reference website and sure enough, they have replacements for both. Thanks Dozernut - that will save a few bucks plus NAPA is a much shorter drive than the Kubota dealer. I found it interesting that the NAPA website lists these air filters as John Deere replacements.

Sorry to say, they don't have a match for the hydraulic or fuel filters at NAPA.

That same inner filter fits my ZD21. Old age, I first said L4610. The ZD21 does not come equipped with an inner filter but has a socket for one. I think a mower needs one worse. BTW, your welcome!

My two cents, if you want performance and don't care about engine life, get a washable gauze between screen type filter. Basically, they keep the gravel out.

If you operate in dusty conditions, I don't recommend them. My opinion.
