RTV or Tractor

I agree with all that the more equipment owned and tried would better qualify some, including myself, to have a better perspective and opinion in many cases. The "sifting" statement, no matter how harmlessly meant, hit me the wrong way. Perhaps I took it the wrong way. I hope so.

I don't flame other posters and do everything I can to be respectful while providing what I feel is useful information and analysis. No offense was intended by the use of the word "sifting" and it was directed at the "other sites" which if you have ever been on one will understand. Some of the ATV/RUV sites are often like a bunch of spoiled children or school girls. There is a lot of good information, but also a lot of arguing and my brand/model/type etc is better than yours.

Again, I mean no disrespect to anyone when I post and even on those occasions in which I have been flamed, I try not to respond in kind. Life is just too darned short for that kind of drama.

Oh, and I have seven grand daughters from five to seventeen, so I am not ragging them either, but boy can they get mean.

She may have subscribed, but personally I think it sucks when people spend a lot of time giving thoughtful, helpful answers and the OP never even gives a thanks or an update. Anytime I have solicited help on this board I have been very grateful for the individuals that take time to help me out and express that to them. I just think that's common courtesy. :) Sorry for the threadjack.

I would not worry if it helps the original poster or not.I am sure that it was worth it anyway. A lot of information I have gotten has come on threads that I was not an active part of. You never know when the question will become important to you or someone else you know.

That's a very good point.

Yep. I've stumbled onto more useful information in threads that had nothing to do with the material I gained versus specific searches.

I live just north of you.. Hilly country, lots of blackberries. I ended up with a Power-Trac tractor and have not looked back since. Handles slopes well and is reasonably priced.

That said, I look fondly at my friends Razr. We find that we travel to the neighbors via quad more than car, our roads are such that the trails take minutes instead of going around the hills which can take quite a lot more time.

I would vote for Tractor...
