RTV Plow question

Hi Guys, my Kubota RTV X1100 has a problem with the plow not pivoting both ways, it will go right but when I want it to go left it either will not, or it will move very slow. Buy sometimes it will work fine.

I'm thinking a solenoid valve is going bad, any advice for me to help find the problem?

PS If I reverse the lines the problem also reverses.

which plow you using? does it have one or two cylinders? what I have found in the valve block if some debris get in the line, it will act as a restrictor, a good indication if this is the case the hydraulic line will stiffen up but cylinder does not move

can you tell if the loading on the motor is the same for both directions, you can also confirm the voltage is getting to the solenoid, switch the connectors and see if it changes the rotation

Thanks for the reply, yes it has two, the up down work fine, its the left right, I don't think its a DC problem, the up down triggers two relays, the right left don't that I can find, but i'm not sure if this is OEM.

I hear some clicking back at the valves but to trouble shoot further I have to remove the entire assembly. Thats why I'm looking for advice, maybe someone had the same problem. I think it is a failing valve solenoid..But thats hard to pin down unless I replace it.

Is That right, they are plugged into a big junction box, so are all the hdy lines..

on most hydraulics I work on the actual coil is mounted in the cover, it removes without taking the spool out, I have to look at my loader but on the deere the solinoid will remove to replace the coil without removing the hydraulics
