Kubota L4701 RTV 1100C
Just bought this one 1 month ago 2015 rtv 1100 c I replaced the starter last week and changed the oil.
Today went to crank it and it cranks but no fire?

Should I hear a fuel pump or is there any way to daignose what might be the issue?

To isolate problem to fire or fuel put a few drops of gas or squirt of starting fluid in carburator while cranking.

It is a fuel injected diesel....no carb.

Check your fuel stop solenoid. If it is bad, your injection pump will not send fuel to the injectors.

Yikes 🤪 Don't even think about getting gasoline or starting fluid near it(could blow head off diesel) do what ruffdog said.

Thanks so much what exactly tests the solenoid? Is there a fuel solenoid? This is the fuel pump diagram and the stop solenoid.

The pump is called a lift pump and it is a low pressure pump that gets the fuel from the tank to the high pressure injection pump. The fuel tank is low so depending on gravity would not work...hence the need for the lift pump. Test it by loosening the fitting where the fuel comes from the lift pump and goes into the injection pump. Crank it over and you should get fuel.

The solenoid is bolted to the injection pump and depending if it is activated, allows fuel to be sent to the injectors. Some of them stop working and some get weak and won't hold.

Items to check:

Is there fuel in the tank?
Is there a blockage in the tank outlet?
Is the filter plugged or full of water?
Does the lift pump get the fuel to the injection pump?
Does the fuel stop solenoid operate so fuel gets to injectors?
If not, is power getting to the solenoid?

Note: any opening of the fuel system probably will mandate you to "bleed" the fuel lines and that should be in the manual as it is needed after changing the fuel filter.

Fuel in the tank. I only know that one so far. I will have to buy a manual. I bought it used and it was missing.

I have the fuel filter I can replace and it self bleeds when you install from a video I watched on it
part number Kubota 6A320-59930 for the filter then you need two O-rings they are 6A320-59940 and 6A320-59950

I want to say I am very thankful for your help. I have replaced the fuel filter today.
It was pretty dirty needed to be done. That did not fix my problem.

We then found the bleed valve and it is right after the fuel pump. When we opened it and cranked there was fuel the entire time.

Only thing left is the solenoid you were talking about. I will replace it asap and let you know how it goes.
Thank you again.

I only bought this 1 month ago and I have worked on it more than I have been able to drive it. I have put less than a half tank through it. It read 2700 miles and 450.6 hours. I didn't expect this from a Kubota.

They all need maintenance too so get it fixed while learning about the machine. The filter and solenoid at 450hrs is not that strange.

The fuel stop solenoid was the problem. I replaced it and started instantly. Thank you very much RUFFDOG I didn't know what to do without your help. Thank you again! Took two weeks for the part to arrive at my local Kubota.
