RTV1100, price check versus other options

We have a 2009 rtv1100 and have had good luck, we need to add another unit to the farm however the cost is getting out of control, 17800, orange with upgrades wheels otherwise no major upgrades/options. Are there other options that are comparable but may save me a few thousand?

You can try to find a used one equipped close to what you're looking for. Honestly though I have always seen the Rtv's hold their value exceptionally well. The only "affordable" ones I ever saw had thousands of hours on them.

17,8 sounds like a great deal. The best price I found was around 19,4 with bed liner and alloy wheels.

family friend, so offering me friendly price, i can t find anything comparable for the $. Our older unit has been good except for a difficult shifter and last year extreme colds lead to some diesel gelling issues.

DOUBT YOU'LL FIND ANYTHING COMPARABLE FOR LESS MONEY. Key words, comparable and the other key word(s) less money. No, the Kawasakis are not comparable for a work horse RTV. Maybe faster or probably for sure faster but not for working capacity and dependability. Used Kubota RTV with low hours is the only thing comparable for less money.:cool2:

I'd agree, it would be very hard to find something comparable. There are other machines that are good, but when you start adding dump bed, cab, etc. (things that come with the 1100), you'll be in the same price range.
