I am new here but have been a fly on the wall for some time now.
I have to say that i can usually fix any problems i have just by reading here. But now i am stumped.

I am having an issue with the high speed on my cart it will not go more than 10 mph on flat ground.
I have replaced the filters and put in a new HST plate kit and adjusted the servo.
It feels like there is no pressure in medium or high in low it seems to have good pressure.
Is there maybe something I am missing?
How do you test the pressure?

thanks,
Jeremy

Welcome to TBN.

Hmmmm...I have heard that the muffler has a spark arrester inside it and that the arrester can get all gooped up with carbon. I removed my spark arrester before this could happen. You might try temporarily removing it from the muffler and see if that helps...problem is supposedly a large amount of back pressure .
How many hours on the vehicle??

Mine gets to 25mph on flat pavement in high gear. Are you out of 4 wheel drive?

I suspect John has hit the nail on the head. First thing I did with my RTV was remove that screen and throw it away. It is only needed if riding in national parks. I don't ever plan to do that. A spark arrester in a diesel is pretty much over the top anyway.

How, details, do you remove the spark arrestor?
I have a RTV1140 for a bit over 3 years, well guess almost 4 now and does 27mph on paved slight down grade in high gear in 2wd. Does 10+ in lower gears. Never a problem with it and has over 100 hours.

thankyou for your responses,
there is almost 750 hours on it. I removed the spark arrester (I could see right threw it in the sun)
Took it for a drive anyways and it made no difference.
low gear will only do about 5 mph
medium will do about 10
hight will do 12-14 got it to do 17 going down a slight grade.

I am supposing that yours is like my two Kubotas (RTV and B26). The spark arrestor is held in with on sheet metal screw at the end of the exhaust pipe. Just remove the screw and pull out the screen. It was not a problem with my RTV which was only a year old when I got it but the B26 screw was rusted in and just broke off when I tried to remove it. I had a bit of a time extracting that broken screw. The tractor only had 60+ hours on it but the screen was almost completely carboned up. The RTV had a few hours less and had significant carbon build up on it also. They both still ran ok though. The screen is a reverse cone with the point facing the exhaust gas.
