Rtv500 updates?

Seems like I read that major changes were being planned for the RTV 500, including doing away with the Hydro Trans. Any confirmation, or more info. about that? Also, would that make servicing or buying parts for these units harder in the future?

Dealer shared with me last week that Kubota will be rolling out a RTV 400 with CVT belt drive. No other information at this time. I've a 2011 RTV 900 XT. Can't imagine something smaller.

I would assume the 500 remains as is..Don't know.

The 400/500 certainly have their place for ATV trails...My 1100 can't fit between some of the trees that the quads go through. Wish I could have kept the 500 and bought the 1100 for plowing etc...That 500 was a great machine once I shook all of the bugs out, I miss it sometimes.

500 stays, 400 is an addition. I'd expect to see sales go about 50/50 depending on buyers Power vs Sport preference. The CVT is snappier, but the HST will out pull it.
