- I have a Kubota M-5400 and a B-2910 plus a G-1800 riding mover which is orange too.
I am starting to use the RTV and am getting used to the technique of using the gears. I have a B-2910 with 3 speed HST, but I am usually snowblowing, so I don't notice the speed. When I went out and used the RTV in 4-wheel and 2-wheel and all 3 different speeds it seemed a little different. With my older kubota with gears and throttle it was clutch, shift and pedal or cruise control. With the RTV with a top speed of 25 mph it seems to have a style of its own that I will have to get the hang of. I noticed going up a slight hill it would slow down more than I would have thought. I am not sure if flooring the pedal is the same as the old style or being hydostatic it needs to be eased up slower. The dealer said I would get used to it and I am happy with the unit, but wondered if there were some tricks that weren't in the manual for using the RTV-900. It seems to act a little different than my B-2910, but I am usually going too slow blowing snow to notice speed. The RTV got up to 25 mph, but slows down fast when it hits a hill. Any help appreciated. Kenta
