I have a Kubota M-5400 and a B-2910 plus a G-1800 riding mover which is orange too.
I had one more question for RTV 900 owners. I line-Xed my Chevy pickup 2 years ago and was happy with the job. I have heard a few of the guys try that on the dump body. Someone said to just take the body off and take it to the line-X shop. Anyone happy or unhappy with adding that to the RTV. I would think it would quiet it down and it should take more of beating. Bad choice of words. More heavy use. Any feed-back appreciated. Kenta

Putting the spray in liner has worked out really well. Quiets it down and is easy to clean out the bed after your brother in law transports his deer that he got hunting. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Well worth the extra money. Plus it does not take away from the look of the machine.

Thanks RTV Lady. I will keep the dead animals out of the RTV. I liked the job line-X did. They went over the top rail on the truck so I will do the same on the RTV. Kenta

Putting the liner up over the top rail works really well. My brother in law helped a buddy of his get a big buck back to camp in the RTV. The guy's ATV was not able to handle the beast. I'm not a hunter, but I do like to shoot. I have two requests from my family when they use the RTV for hunting. 1. Clean out the bed when finished. 2. I get some of the deer sausage. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif My brother in law likes the idea I don't hunt. He gets the RTV all to himself during the season....

It was me who had my bed line X'ed by taking the bed off and taking it to them. They did a great job. Im very happy//

I also had my RTV sprayed with Perma-Tech liner. We color matched it to Kubota Gray. I also flipped the bed over and undercoated the bottom.

Another thing I did that worked great was to take up the Kubota floor mat and spray that with Perma-Tech. That rubber floor mat is OK but mud and water collects under it and will soon rust the floor pan. I used my RTV once in the mud and washed it GOOD. When we went to install the spray in floor 1 week after I washed it, the floor was still wet and muddy under the mat.

I think that's a good idea to also do the floor. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I put in a spray in liner shortly after I bought my RTV last March. I then put a drop in liner over that. It works very well. While I was doing that, I went ahead and used the spray in liner on the rounded parts of the fender wells where your feet will be on them. That has protected that well, as I always see foot prints and dirt on that area.

After using my RTV in the mud, I always thoroughly wash it and put it in front of a 48" fan on high to dry after towel drying. The fan always manages to blow muddy water out from between the fender well and the floor onto the floor mat. That tells me that something is getting trapped under the mat as you mentioned. I like your idea. I was going to take my mat out and clean under it next washing anyway. Now I think I'll likely leave the mat out and use the spray in liner on the floor as you suggested. Good idea!
