Rubber Cutting Edge for Rear Blade?

I have a piece of uhmw plastic to replace the cutting edge in the winter. Bought the right length and drilled matching holes.

Others have used composite decking as a winter edge.

Not a bad idea! That'd be a lot cheaper route to go.

I have a concrete driveway, which is plenty busted up, so I try not to snag any pieces.
