I have snakes in my flower beds, on my porch and even under the kids toys. I kill them and keep on the look out for more. If I can't keep the wild hogs out of my front yard and eating the bird seed from our feeders, I don't have a chance with the snakes.
As for them getting into my storage areas, I poison heavily for mice and hope that's enough. If I find one, it will die.
