My Bx42 was delivered yesterday. Spent a couple hours unpacking and setting it up. It took about an hour to turn a pile of brush and tree trimmings (about 3" diameter at the largest) into a trailer full of chips and chopped twigs. My L3200 did not slow down once. I had a pair of loppers to cut apart large forks but otherwise trimming was minimal and the chipper chewed as fast as I could load. Clearly if I used more wood and less brush the chips would have looked better, but what I got will be fine to stabilize paths and once mashed down a bit the twigs won't be noticeable. The Bx42 was the best choice and I'm very happy with it.

I didn't get the hydraulic feed and do not miss it; it self feeds faster than I can put stuff in the hopper. I'll use the price savings for a firewood splitter.

I have one to, it does a great job. Just wear your ear protection, safety glasses and gloves. It will jerk those limbs right out of your hand!
