Running backhoe naked?

I would advise them that for the sake of safety, your skin and their eyes, that clothing is a must.

And be particularly careful climbing up and down from the tractor. There are lots of knobs and levers that can catch on your CLOTHING when you are dressed...... and goodness knows what when you are not dressed!

I think now would be the time to invest in a cab with deeply tinted windows.

All I can think of is something touching a hot hydraulic fitting. YEOWCHY!!!!

I'd tell them that for safety's sake, proper work clothes will be worn. Then, after the job is complete and the machine shut down and secured, run around naked all you want.

I second the levers catching clothing, bent my PTO lever over about 60 deg this past Friday when I hopped off, my jean shorts caught and almost dumped me on my face

I was back there, I think the owner might use his tractor to fix it..... nuts! If he doesn't do it by weekend, the cottage owner will call me. I have to stay to the left of the clothing optional sign. As for laborers ,the ones over there,I stay a safe distance from,when they bend over in the trench. I wonder where they keep their wallet? plowking

Since you're not joining in the festivities, I would say that you can remain dressed as long as you don't spend time eyeing the sights.
It's sorta like vendors at a game or photographers at an event. They are essentially invisible to the participants and don't have to conform to what's going on. Like listening to the speaker, or sitting quietly. Of course they should stop for things like pledge of allegiance and the like.
Just explain to management that you would be uncomfortable working nude and the distraction would be a safety hazard both for you and others.
