For those with sawmills, do you think an old wagon running gear would work for the trailer. Was thinking maybe 6x6 to mount the woodmill and add some trailer jacks for stabilization. I dont want to pull it on road just around the farm. Narrowed down my mill to a woodmiser lt15 or woodland mill 130. The woodmiser is almost double the price when you upgrade to 25hp.

Not familiar with sawmills but how rigid do you have to keep the frame? Most wagons allow some twisting between front and rear wheels so you might need to allow mill to float on the front bolster.

Just check the mill deck for level side to side before running it and shim it level, no big deal at all...
