I'm running over 100' from my air compressor and found a website that recommends running 3/4" black pipe for the long run and then Using a "T" off off it to 1/2" pipe to feed my hose for tools, etc. As I understood it, the 3/4" pipe would effectively increase the size of my tank and provide a heavier line with more pressure there. I was wondering if this was a case where if 3/4" is good, a full 1" would be better?
I guess in reality I don't care if it's better or not so much as I'm concerned that it would work at least as well. The reason I'm concerned about that is that I can get 1/2" pipe and 1" pipe free. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
