I got a quote from the dealer to get a second set of RR added for about $510 + tax. At that rate its about as cheap to put a third function valve.

Which tractor do you have and what are your goals for front hydraulics?

Not quite as cheap as you must add a couple hours installation for the diverter valve. Also, the diverter valve is good for only one thing while an extra set of RR can be used for many things.

I've got both. If I had to give up one it would be the diverter, no question.

i like my diverter..Cost of the valve was 175.00,set of quik couplings 15.00,two hyd hoses 35.00,joystick button 3.00.Two hours to install.I can use my three angle front plow and blower in the winter .Grapple in the summer with chipper on the back with hyd shoot.and no long hoses haging from the back of the machine..but thats just my opinion.I cant find the install pics on my computer but I posted pics of the install last year

I ordered the wr long 3rd junction valve for my tractor from Tony @ Lavoie (thanks Tony). I am also planning to move forward with the second rear remotes. I like the first one to be used for the hyd toplink and am planning for the future to use the second RR for a hydraullic motor for a project I am going to have to build by this time next year.

I also went ahead and ordered from him the TISCO 9500 Break-Away Kit. THis will give me the ability to use this for the motor or a tree shear I may build too. I really like the method of having a a way to easily switch the lines.

Thanks to all for helping me make an educated decision.

Sorry I'm just getting to this post but I had the dealer install the WR Long kit for my 45 and have really enjoyed having all the functions right there, beside me and together on one lever. They ran my lines along the existing lines on the same side. I'd say there's too much hose in the kit based on how my lines are run as it came loose and was practially dragging the ground after some grapple work recently. I had to re-zip tie them up tight against the other lines again. Not sure if they were tucked out of sight before but I've got more slack now and I know they didn't stretch. I can try and get some pictures of where everything is mounted if you still need them.
Good Luck,
RJJR

Thanks Tony. What is the "Quick-Disconnect bulkhead mount" ? Is this something you sell? Do you have a picture of one? Is this kind of like the disconnects for the FEL in the lower right of the dk45se I see?

Quick Disconnect - I sell three different ones.

W R Long Bulkhead Mount -
- contains weld on plate, one male & one female QD, 2 bulkhead unions
- any hydraulic shop can get you all fittings, you maybe able to make cheper yourself. i sell as courtesy to go along with W R Long Valve
- Hard to get hooked up if pressure on attachment hoses!
-GOOD

TISCO 8500 Break-Away Kit -
-contains two male and female fittings and mount bracket, thread size 1/2 NPTE, easy one handed connect and disconnect when clamp mounted, **must release valve pressure
-BETTER

TISCO 9500 Break-Away Kit -
-contains two male and female fittings and mount bracket, thread size 1/2 NPTE, easy one handed connect and disconnect when clamp mounted
- PRESSURE RELEASE INCLUDED - No awkard hooking up because of pressure on either piece. Also Higher flow for Hydraulic Auger drive on front loader (like skid steer!)
-BEST

I am going to try to attach pictures. Email or call if you want more info. EVERYTHING IN STOCK!

Tony
