D17 series III, 1758 Massey Ferguson
18" snow last 2 days. Opened runway with tractor. Hit 250 hours on unit. Was plowing in high range.

Nice How'd it do pushing? Did you get the sense it was struggling at all? Or did it rip right through it? From video looks like it sailed right through. Do you know the weight of the front blade you're using?

#620 Bobcat brand snow blade. In high range it snorted when the windrows got really big. The fact that it pushed at all that depth on high is pretty good with all the negative press on the HST on some MF units. This is high range Walter. I thing loaded tires makes all the difference.

Thanks for sharing. I have 47 acres at 8600 ft so will be plowing a good bit. In the market for a tractor now, and the 1758 is on my short list.

Gee, I bet you even have heat in that thing, don't you? :laughing: :thumbsup: Must be nice!

(Back on the job with 4557A... finishing up wing repairs. May get it back in the air this summer.)
