Rural King tractors are Mahindra cousins

Frankly I wouldn't buy from any dealer who can't provide services offered by the warranty and I don't think Mahindra has any business sitting up dealerships like that. If I were a real dealership I'd be PO'd.

That is extremely stupid if Mahindra really wants to grow their business.

Go ahead alienate more dealers and customers. I'd buy fro RK first rather for a deal that cannot fully service the machine.

That comes with the territory being a dealer.

Maybe the are contacting service to another concern. Still that stinks.

An equivalent Grand L or other premium tractor with less than 500 hours in good shape is more value than a TYM RK tractor new at the same price.

In the NE you would probably pay more for a nice used cabbed grand L.

I think the RK tractors are not a bad tractor for the money, but people ought to consider a nice used tractors who are thinking about buying also

I believe your first statement is right on.

But I think many weekend and suburban farmers don't have the knowledge, skills, or physical abilities to do their own service and/or repair work. Unbelievable how many SCUTs and CUTs our local dealership gets in just to do routine maintenance procedures.

My newish neighbor get treated very well by his Kubota dealer. They come a running when he gells his fuel etc. pick up machines for oil changes etc.
Thats what happens when you spend 6 figures on equipment.
They barely put up with me, but surely don't rely on me to keep them in business.

Just go buy a couple new machines and forget the new pickup truck:)

Not my Pick-up or money. It is my stepsons.
Have to keep up with appearances.
My neighbor just got a new 5th wheel stock trailer plus a 5th wheel Big Tex trailer and new Ram 3500.
I chuckle remembering when all he planned for equipment was a BX or a B Series when he bought the place 3 years ago.

All my machines are modded and work better than new, except maybe my excavator, but that still functions fine. I just wish they were lower hours.
I hope they last my lifetime.
