Rural King tractors

Originally the same mechanic worked two stores. He is the one that did not properly prep the 704. Presently he works only one store. My issue was in the gap from his departing and the new mechanic coming on.
What I missed on was having a checklist to follow with the 704 I had a checklist of my own with the 404.
Neither RK nor Farm Pro in this area are really set up for serious diagnois or repair of anything.
They need a shop space trained workers and manuals. They dont know the cross over filter number at either RK or FARM PRO.

See we don't have rural king here. If I had a small winfall I would want one of those 20 hp tractors. I would have to drive along way to get one. I just thought I may as well drive to best RK store..... I doubt I will be getting one any time soon. The super low price will probabally be gone by the time I could get one. There could be others out there that think this is a great deal too. (a new diesel tractor for $3600.00) Knowing what store is the best might help them also......What is the best RK store to buy a tractor?

I was down at the RK store in WOOSTER about 2 weeks back now:

store is set up nice & seemed pretty well stocked and had 2 tractors setting there in crates. I would have asked to assemble one myself for a good discount as I've already assembled 2 of them for myself that I bought dirrect from an importer/dealer... all i all I love my JINMA284. work horse for sure the other one (2nd one I assembled) I sold for a good deal to a local gent, I gave him choise and he took my pretty blue one /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I now have a nice blue dump trailer with a green tractor /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif lol... anyhow back to RK, I asked for some prices on the 3pt stuff, and found TSC was about 10~15% cheaper /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif not to mention that the KK line wasn't want I was really wanting the Internationals (the ones built in ohio)seem heavier built to me. I can get one locally for less and have a rotary that is a bit heavier to boot...

anyhow the guys at RK seemed nice neough but the place was vbery busy with lots of help wanted signs hanging around looking for mechanics & farm sales knolage help..

Hey all, I am an Assistant Manager at the Rural King in Paris Illinois. I have worked for RK for close to 2 years. I am aware through experience the inconsistency in the assembly of the Chinese tractors. However, RK has recently stopped shipping the tractors unassembled to stores. The tractors are now assembled by trained personnel before they reach the stores. If you have any questions, I would be more than happy to find an answer for you. I am not sure which RK’s have better customer service than others, however I know the Paris RK has a good reputation for working with its customers. Not just because I work there, we have a good crew here.

If you would like no nonsense information about these tractors in anyway shape or form I would be more than happy to help you.

My experience with RK improved. I like the foton tractors 704 and 404 very good general farm machines. RK has improved their methods for customers problems and follow up. I would definitely recommend RK Martin or any store as a good place for a good deal on a good tractor.
