rural living disadvantage

VIN : i would imagine that your idea or RURAL LIVING and mine might be a tad different. i am 20 miles from the nearest big city and only 3 miles from the nearest small town. Please tell us what you consider rural? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

We are not isolated, the nearest town is 5 miles and the nearest city, which is where my daughter has gone is about 100 miles or 1-3/4 hrs away so I guess we are luckier than a lot because we can visit frequently. There are plenty of people in outback Australia that take six or seven hours to get to their nearest city.

WOW! Now that's rural living! We're 3 miles from a mini store which has food and gas, 30 minutes from a small town of 40k ....1 hr and 50 mins from a big city 800k. 7 to 12 hours to the ocean; depending on which beach we're heading to. Now I feel lucky. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
