Phy, I know I will need it, we were with out power and flooded in for 9 days a couple of years ago. This genset will handle most of the house and the well. Already ordered a new frequency meter to replace the Vt meter that is on the unit. 10 bucks coming from China.
Hey Pete,
I guess then I'm glad it went to a good home, where it is more needed than here.
We have a Coleman 5500/6500 than works great to keep my O.L. happy during outages as long as we don't try to do too much as once.
But being as we live in the wilds of upstate NY, heat is the woodstove, hot water is propane, and we really need the genny so that water comes up from the well... At least until I figure out how to rig a stationary bike to pump water...
...and I don't want jinx us, but since they replaced the transformer in front of our property a few years ago, our power has been much more reliable...
Now if the sunspots just settle their act down...
Anyway, way to go!!
